Jian Kou Great wall : Located in the mountain ridge of Xizhazi Village, about 30km (19 miles) to Huairou County in Beijing, Jiankou Great Wall was an important section of the wall in Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644). Owing to the need for renovation, the wall is regarded as one of the most dangerous sections of the Ming's wall. It connects to Mutianyu Great Wall in the east and joins Huanghuacheng Great Wall in the west. From east to north, the wall zigzags 9.3 miles from 'The Ox Horn Edge Wall' to 'The Nine-Eye Tower' via 'The Beijing Knot'. Compared with Mutianyu Great Wall, the mountain is higher and steeper, while compared with Simatai Great Wall, it is more winding and varied. It was built from the local material - dolomite. The large pieces of white rock make the wall striking to the eye at a distance

Tour Itinerary:

D1  You will be picked up from downtown hotel  at 7:00 am in the morning , Driving more than 2 hours to the wild great wall ---Jian kou great wall  Climb  the 3 sites of the Jiankou Great wall the first site is Beijing Knot,  another two are:   'Small budala'  'North tower'It will take about 3-4 hours. Almost 3 pm ,we  eat the prepared lunch on the Jiankou Greatwall We will  get down from the mountain And have a rest and get to live in local farm  family with nice dinner .you  will have good rest for the next days adventure.

D2  wake up by the local household  ,they will prepare some special breakfast at early morning. After a  short brake We get through the defined paths of mountain forest and shrubs, experience the majesty of remote wild jian kou great wall , Hike down the mountain and back to the staging area. Along this part of the section there are another 3 sites which are 'Small budala' - the great wall looks like the budala in Tibet. Another site is 'arrow bow' the wall shapes like a upside down bow.The third site is 'North tower' it is the top summit beacon tower of the Jiankou section of the great wall, and it is the biggest, it faces north so it is named the 'North tower'.

At about 2:00 pm in the afternoon we drive to the Mountain resort to have delicious lunch, we can catch live trout and the restaurant will cook the fish for us, there are also various vegetable and meat. At 4:00 pm we start to drive back to Beijing and at 5:30 pm we return to your Beijing hotel.
